We appreciate the responses that we have received to the announcement sent last week of AvantGuard acquiring All American. Many of you have reached out to our team and shared your thoughts and questions. It has become clear that there are some shared questions that we wanted to answer for the benefit of all our dealers.
Q: Will my pricing be honored?
A: AvantGuard is committed to honoring the existing agreements and pricing.
Q: Do I get to continue to work with the All American team?
A: The All American team members have been retained as AvantGuard employees. As such, you will continue to work with the same sales, billing, dealer support, and monitoring center teams. Over time, we will supplement these teams with members from our other AvantGuard sites to provide enhanced support and redundancy.
Q: Can I still order M2M radios through AvantGuard?
A: Yes, we will continue offering this service.
Q: Will All American be rebranding to AvantGuard?
A: Yes. By the end of the year All American will be fully rebranded to AvantGuard. You will begin to see the AvantGuard and our parent company’s name, Becklar, particularly with invoicing and paying your bill.
Q: What changes will I see when receiving my invoice and paying my bill?
A: Upon receipt of your invoice, you will notice minor changes in branding. For those of you using the payment portal, the most significant changes you will realize are layoutand branding adjustments. The portal has similar functionality to what you are used to. During this transition we will be temporarily waiving the 3% fee for credit card transactions. Please note that the payment receipt will be sent from firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: What benefits will I see from this transition?
A: We look forward to enhancing the capabilities offered to the All American dealers including:
- Facility, signal path, and people redundancy among the AvantGuard monitoring centers (Ogden, UT, Rexburg, ID, Cedar City, UT, Sarasota, FL)
- Access to AvantGuard’s award winning dealer tools including a technician app for iPhone and Android, web portals for account management, reporting, and attrition reducing insights
- Subscriber interaction tools including SMS and AG Chat
- Complete Alarm.com integration
- AI (Artificial Intelligence) enabled conversational voice capabilities to prioritize inbound and outbound calling
- Two-way voice capabilities for security and medical alarms

Q: What is changing in the short term?
A: First, we will be investing $500,000 in upgrading technology at the Sarasota monitoring facility. That investment will enable implementation of signal redundancy between our Sarasota location and existing AvantGuard monitoring locations as soon as possible. Doing so will ensure that interruption of circuits due to vendor issues, or problems at an entire location, will not impact our ability to receive and respond to alarms whether they are coming via IP, cellular, phone lines, etc.
