Adding Chat:
- Search the account in stages and open the account.
- Once the account is open, you will want to go to the site tab.
- Near the bottom middle of the page, click on the 'Dispatch Types' tab.
-Click on the box next to 'Chat' to add AG chat.
- In order for AG chat to send text messages to the contacts, we will want to make sure the contacts have the auto box checked. We can find this and set this up in the contacts tab. Find the contact you want to receive chat messages and click on the magnifying glass next to it.
'Contact Detail' window should pop up.
On the phone number for the contact, make sure the Auto box is checked. You may have to scroll over to see the auto box.
Make sure to save your changes.
Once that box is checked, the AG chat will be enabled for that contact.
Removing Chat:

Search the account in stages and open the account.
- Once the account is open, you will want to go to the site tab.
- From there, click on the 'dispatch types' tab.
- Uncheck the box next to 'Chat' to remove the function.
- This will automatically save.
- You can uncheck the auto box on the contact as well.
- However, unchecking the auto box will stop the account from sending any text or emails to that contact.
- For example, if the contact still needs email notifications on Report Distributions, do not uncheck the auto box for them.
- If you do need to uncheck the auto box and stop the contact from getting any communication on this account, click the contacts tab.
- Find the contact you want to stop receiving chat messages and click the magnifying glass next to it.
- The 'Contact Detail' window will pop up. Go over toe where the phone number is and uncheck the auto box. - You may have to scroll over to see the auto box. Make sure to save your changes.
- Once that box is unchecked, the AG chat will be disabled for that contact.
