- Enter the account type.
- Enter the premise phone and alternate premise phone if needed.
-If the address successfully validates the agencies will be added automatically. This little window will pop up at the top right if the address does validate:
- If this window doesn't pop up and the agencies do not populate, please use the 'Monitoring Portal' section of this article: Updating Agency Numbers
Account Activation:
- You can Activate the account under 'Devices'.
- You'll also need to pick a test timer. Commercial Fire accounts will need daily test timers
- Make sure you save periodically so you don't lose any information.
Contacts:
- To add contacts, scroll down to 'Contact Information' and click the plus.
- If you want to give a contact a specific password/PIN, make sure you give them all access authority.
- If ECV is checked, the contact will be called before dispatch.
- EXCEPT on Commercial Fire(CF) accounts. On CF accounts dispatch will always be called first.
Code Words:
- Under 'Code Words' is where you would enter the general password for the account.
- It's a good idea for the authority on passwords to be All Access.
- This is also where duress codes can be added.
Entering Zones:
- Under 'Device Configuration (Points)' click the plus button to add zones.
- You'll need to fill out point, description, area and Event type
- Points will need to be only numerals.
- If you do not have a specific area, you can leave that column blank.
- The 'Send Restore' box should only be checked on Commercial Fire alarms and waterflow alarms.
- Make sure to save after making changes.
